Online Privacy Policy Agreement

Last update: June 2023

Merkado Services LLC (“Merkado”) values the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) will help you understand how we collect and use personal information from those who visit our website or make use of our online facilities, applications and services (the “Website”), and what we will and will not do with the information we collect.

We reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any time. If you want to ensure that you are aware of the latest changes, we encourage you to check the Website frequently. If at any time Merkado decides to make use of any personally identifiable information on file in a manner very different from that stated when this information was initially collected, users will be notified immediately by email or telephone and, at that time, will have the option to permit the use of their information in this different manner.

This policy governs the collection and use of data by us. Therefore, by using this website, you consent to the data collection procedures set forth in this Policy.

Please note that this policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that Merkado does not control, or by persons not employed or directed by us. If you visit a website that we mention or link to, be sure to review their privacy policy before providing information to them. It is recommended and suggested that you review the privacy policies and statements of any website you choose to use or frequent to better understand how the websites collect, use and share the information collected.

Specifically, this Policy will inform you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through our website;
  2. Why we collect personally identifiable information and the legal basis for such collection;
  3. How we use the information we collect and with whom it may be shared;

Information We Collect

It is always up to you whether you disclose personally identifiable information to us, although if you choose not to do so, we reserve the right not to register you as a user or provide you with any products or services.

Account Information

You provide your cell phone number to create an OKY account. You may choose to give us access to the contacts in your cell phone address book on a regular basis, in which case your contacts will be securely uploaded to our servers to help you send vouchers to any of those contacts. For example, if you allow access to your contacts, you will be able to choose the contact directly instead of having to type in their name or number. You confirm that you are authorized to provide us with such numbers. To help you organize your communication with others, we can create a favorites list of your contacts for you.

OKY transmits images that you upload on the Support Chat to help you solve issues that you may encounter while using the app. We do not store any other images and we only transmit what you select from your gallery.
